Wow! What a book it was! This was the 35th book I read for this year, and I can’t believe why did not pick it up earlier! This is one of those books that you do not want to put down, and I too read it in one sitting.
Eddie tells his story from his childhood until the day he celebrated his 100th birthday, which involves his experience in the most horrific places to ever exist on earth, the Nazi Death Camps. That part keeps you at the edge of the seat, eager to go through the page to the next one to see and appreciate the sheer will that Eddie had to survive, overcome and be a beautiful human being to make a difference.
I am not going to tell you the story at all, because that is for Eddie to tell it himself. But make no mistake, this is one of the very best book out there for you to read. I usually do not write book reviews but this, I absolutely HAD to spread the word about it because with all the negativity in this world right now, this can be one more light which shines brightest.
I laughed, I cried and I fell in love with Eddie during the short time he sums up his vivid experience of his life’s story. And spoiler alert, you will shed a tear or two reading this, I guarantee that! I am going to leave you with few quotes from him below.
